How direct booking works

Lower rates, a real human, and a personal touch — here's the honest how and why.

Why we offer it

When you book through a big platform, a chunk of what you pay goes to platform fees. Booking directly with us skips most of that — and we pass those savings straight back to you, while giving you a more personal experience with the people who actually care for the home.

The honest part

Booking direct also means there's no big platform sitting in the middle. That puts a little more responsibility on both of us — which is exactly why we ask for a saved card and a short signed agreement. It keeps everything clear and protected on both sides, and in exchange we're able to offer you a better rate than you'd find on the listing sites. We think that's a fair trade, and we keep the whole process simple and secure.

The four steps

1
Request your dates
Tell us your dates and group size. We check availability and reply with your exclusive direct rate.
2
Reserve with a small deposit
A 5% deposit secures your dates and saves your card securely with Stripe — we never see your card number.
3
Sign a simple agreement
A short rental agreement protects both of us. You get an emailed copy for your records.
4
Relax — we handle the rest
The remaining balance is automatically charged 7 days before check-in, so arrival is seamless.

Why the balance is charged 7 days before check-in

We're a small, independently-run home — not a big rental company. Charging the balance a week before your arrival (rather than at the door) gives us a quiet window to resolve any card issue calmly, so your check-in is completely seamless.

Your money is safe

All payments are handled by Stripe, a leading payment processor — your card details go straight to them and never touch our servers. Our Terms and Privacy Policy spell out exactly how everything works.
